The name is Kelly Cannon.
I'm a reporter at the Herald Journal in Logan, Utah. My beat is K-12 Education, though it's a very small newspaper so I pretty much write for every section, minus sports (but I'm working on it). I earned my Bachelors of Science in English with an emphasis in Literature and a minor in Cinema Studies from Utah Valley University in 2012. But this has very little to do with that.
This blog started off as a way to cope with a huge change in my life, mainly moving back home after living in Cedar City, Utah for the better part of four years. It has evolved to a place to work on my writing & poetry, document random lists, share thoughts with people, answer a list of questions I have, record stories, and share how I'm feeling. I generally refer to it as my "non-professional writing" site, though that term doesn't really do it justice.
